There is a park located on 127th Street (Bayside), The name is North Side Park.  It includes a nice paved pathway for walking, running, riding scooters, riding bikes etc. There are restrooms and a baseball diamond too.  It's fairly good size and fairly well done with scenic views of the bay.  It also a good place for a picnic . . .  You can put the bikes in your car or ride them to and from.  It's about 1.2 miles from The Plaza.
